Construction Manager
Good Day! NES Fircroft is excited to announce that our office has an incredible job opportunity with one of the country's leading chemical distribution organizations outside the Greater Charlotte, NC region for a Construction Manager.
This individual would be employed on a contract to hire basis and be responsible for overseeing various new construction projects at the client's plant.

Job Details Location:
Kings Mountain, NC Hours:
M-F 40 hours per week-some OT may be required.
Pay Range:
Negotiable based on experience.
Duration:
6 Months with possibility for extension.
Responsibilities Manage all capital project construction activities in accordance with site & company safety policies / procedures.
Manage capital construction schedule in alignment with project managers and site representatives.
Capital team advocate, liaison and gatekeeper for the site contractor safety program.
Active participation on applicable capital project design and cost estimating efforts.
Manage daily activities for resident & outside contractors.
Schedule all contractor work activities in accordance with site contractor safety program (security notifications, SWP's, JSA's, etc.
) Construction monitoring / support as required by project schedules.
Job Qualifications Must have at least 5
years of construction management experience leading craft and new construction work.
Must have previous experience overseeing steel and/or iron erection projects.
Previous experience in the chemicals or similar industrial related experience would be a big plus.
Knowledge of SAP would be a big plus.
Local candidates to the Greater Charlotte/Kings Mountain, NC region are highly preferred.
